Weekly CO report

Aviation Section

CO Pilot Jason Jensen (Brainerd) flew mainly fire detection flights this week. APM violation was noted and sent to local officer for follow up.

CO Pilot Charles Scott (Brainerd) continued flight training with NR Pilot Zeller. He completed survey training task with CO pilots.

CO Pilot Tim Gray (Bemidji) spent the week flying for the yearly waterfowl survey.

CO Pilot Ryan Hanna (Grand Rapids) conducted a survey on Rainy Lake during the fishing opener. Many boats were out and about enjoying the fishing opener. It was noted that Rainy Lake still had a large sheet of ice which was restricting access to some areas.

NR Pilot Gracie Zeller (Brainerd) continued training for her commercial fixed wing license with both air work and ground studies. Vehicle maintenance was attended to and a fish stocking mission was scheduled.
