Yodel mobile app
Self-payment envelopes are no longer accepted, but there is a new mobile payment option! Use the free Yodel mobile app to purchase firewood or one-day vehicle permits in state parks and recreation areas, and to pay state forest camping fees. (Park reservations are still made and paid for through the reservations system, not through Yodel.)
Don't get lost in the woods
Download geoPDF maps at home. They'll display your current location like Google Maps, but you don't have to be connected to the Internet or have cell service while using the map.
State park library pass
Reading is good in the woods! Check out your favorite book and a state park pass at one of over a hundred Minnesota libraries. Find participating libraries.
Fish for free in most state parks
If you're a Minnesota resident, you can fish in many state parks without a fishing license!
