Weekly CO report

District 13 - West Metro area

CO Alexander Birdsall (Waconia) continues to focus on waterfowl hunting along with recreational vehicle enforcement. A reminder to the night anglers out there, the time to turn on navigational lights is not when you see another boat approaching, rather turn them on and leave them on while on the water after sunset.

CO Ben Ulrich (Osseo) spent the week working angling, boating, waterfowl, and small game hunting. With the warm weather there were more anglers seen this week than hunters. Some violations encountered this week included no license in possession, fishing without a license, and no small game license.

CO Brent Grewe (Minnetonka) spent the week checking fisherman, monitoring bowhunting activity and following up with complaints. Violations this week included no license possession and no fishing license.

CO Mike Lerchen (Bloomington) spent time working waterfowl hunters. Time was also spent working a VIP detail. Lerchen also followed up with archery and waterfowl hunting area questions.
