Support fish and wildlife conservation in Minnesota by purchasing fish and wildlife habitat stamps. There are five stamps: trout and salmon, waterfowl, pheasant, walleye and turkey.
Stamps can be purchased as validations on your hunting or fishing license or as collectables.

Stamp contests
Fish and wildlife habitat stamp contests are open to any Minnesota resident. If you are interested in entering the contest, download a copy of the stamp contest rules and application and submit the application along with your artwork.
All entries for the contest must be accompanied by the appropriate application materials. Contest application packages, which include all entry forms and specifications, are also available by writing from the Minnesota DNR Information Center, 500 Lafayette Road, St. Paul, Minnesota, 55155-4020, or by calling the DNR at (651) 296-6157.
Federal duck stamp
The federal duck stamp or federal duck stamp validation is required for all waterfowl hunters age 16 and older. More information about the federal duck stamp and the federal duck stamp contest administered by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service can be found at the agency's web page.
