Comments: Wakefield Lake is an ideal setting for all types of recreation. The lake is managed by the FiN Program and is stocked with Bluegill, Black Crappie, and Northern Pike. Largemouth Bass over 3 lbs have also been caught. Three shore fishing stations and the fishing pier give you a place to fish without trampling vegetation and causing erosion. To catch one of the Northern Pike or Crappie in the lake, try using a small minnow under a bobber.  A lake survey was conducted in July, 2011.
