Location:
Edith Lake is located north of Indian Trail and west of Stagecoach Trail in the city of Afton.
Species Present:
Northern Pike: average abundance, average size, with some larger pike present.
Largemouth Bass: average abundance, average size.
Bluegill: above average abundance, smaller than average size.
Crappie: above average abundance, smaller than average size.
Bullhead species: lower than average abundance, average size.
Boat Access:
There is no access to this lake. This south bay of this lake abuts Indian Trail, but launching off the road is prohibited.
Shore Fishing:
The entire shoreline is privately owned. Fishing is limited to riparian owners and their guests.
Management Plans:
- No fish management is planned for this lake.
Comments:
This lake historically had a healthy Northern Pike population, with some larger fish present. Panfish were abundant, but small. Common Carp are abundant here, and are especially noticeable in early summer. Fishing may be limited by heavy vegetation growth in some areas.
