Special regulations

Not Effective until Friday, Aug. 16

Mille Lacs Lake including all tributaries from the mouth upstream to posted boundaries.

Walleye

  • Up to two walleye. Both fish can be 18-20 inches in length or one can be 18-20 inches and the other must be longer than 28 inches.

All other regulations remain unchanged.

Tagged Fish: Please record tag number, species, fish length, date and place caught, angler type (e.g. boat, launch, shore, ice, etc.), and whether released (leave tag attached) or kept (send tag). Postcards are available at public accesses and businesses on Mille Lacs Lake. Fish can be reported by:
