The Regional Program is staffed by Regional Environmental Assessment Ecologists (REAE) located in the MDNR Regional Offices. REAEs are professional ecologists with environmental impact assessment specialization that is applied to an array of projects and activities.
REAEs provide and coordinate technical review of internal and external environmental review documents, as well as other draft agency permits, plans, and activities within the regional areas.
